Robert S. Broadhead is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Connecticut, and the Principal Investigator of Project REACH, a NIDA-funded multi-year study examining the use of a peer-driven intervention to improve HIV+ drug users utilization of health care services. Thomas Kerr is community health research working in Vancouver, Canada who specializes in HIV/AIDS and injection drug use research. He is a doctoral student in Educational Psychology at the University of Victoria and is funded through a Canadian Institutes for Health Research Doctoral Training award. John-Paul Grund is a drug researcher working for UNAIDS, Vienna on the Task Force on HIV Prevention Among IDUs in Central Eastern Europe and the Newly Independent States. Frederick Altice is a research physician affiliated with the Yale University AIDS Program, and the co-PI, along with Robert Broadhead, of Project REACH.
